We were delighted with our two day getaway at the Granville Inn! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was tastefully decorated and immaculate and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The "Continental Breakfast" included chef-made granola, delicious sweet breads and pastries as well as a quiche and/or bowl of oatmeal. We also ate lunch and dinner there and highly recommend the cuisine.
No. Our only problem was that everything touristy was closed on Monday in Granville and Newark.

Front Desk staff friendly and helpful. The room had been updated since our last stay and was clean and comfortable. We loved the atmosphere and the local Chili Cook Off on the grounds was a definite bonus on Saturday 10/21.
I can't believe the Inn gave up the tradition of the old iced/raisin bread made fresh thru the restaurant. Believe it or not, one of the reasons we stayed there was to partake in that again...Big Miss!

Stayed in the Trustee's Suite, awesome space. Hotel is a recently renovated 1920's facility. Beautiful woodwork and very well done.

It has been redecorated and updated in the last couple of years. It is lovely...a real classy comfortable place to stay. We love the Tavern and the historical aspects of the Inn. A real gem.
