The restaurants
I thought the bartender shouldn’t have asked my last name and room number for charges out loud where the bar customers could hear. That should be done in private.
We stayed on the tenth floor which we love except for the small closet in the bathroom and the sinks are pretty but not functional. Splashed everywhere. Also would like to have plugs in for cell phone on each nightstand. Room 1021
We’ve stay at San Luis 9 times this was the one and only time I was a little disappointed. But we will be back but we will probably stay on 14 or 15 from now on.

Pool area
The drinks are to weak. Couldn't continue to pay $15 for drinks with hardly any alcohol. Stronger drinks I would have drank and spent alot more.

I was the photographer for a wedding that was held at the hotel and from the minute I pulled into the valet area to when I left, I felt valued and appreciated and seen by every staff member! Most of the guys at the valet knew me by name, and any staffers that I saw repeatedly would ask me about the wedding! Everyone was so accommodating and kind. All the employees were so nice to us all the time checking in back with us If everything was fine, we do really had a wonderful experience on the Fathers Day weekend! my two boys and I had a blast! Each and every one of the staff at this resort were friendly and helpful. They made you feel very special and welcome. Phydias,the Macaw ,was a surprise and delight to our family. The view of the beach from any room is amazing.. They all face the beach! We loved our stay at The San Luis Resort!

I loved the elegance of the hotel and the beautiful view from our balcony. The staff was very frieand helpful. We got there early and our room wasn’t ready, however, we were offered an upgrade for $20 to a higher floor where the room was ready. This was very helpful and allowed us to keep all our plans.
The toilet paper was hard to reach. I have had major back surgery and I can’t easily twist. The shower did not seal and allowed water to get on the floor creating a slip hazard. Also it took a full 10 minutes to get hot water.
