I had an issue with smelling strong cigarette smoke in my room two nights in a row. It was so bad I couldn’t sleep the first night. When I complained the second night, the front desk moved me to a room on the 6th floor that had extra filters in the ventilation. It made my stay so much more enjoyable. Everyone at the hotel including the bar and spa were helpful, kind, and sociable.

It is always a treat to stay at the Galvez. It has a grand history and is a pleasant reminder of the great grand
hotels of the past. It is luxurious with great views of the ocean, quiet refinement and special services.
