Rivers Edge Resort

We enjoyed the quietness and the peacefulness of the Rivers Edge Resort while were vacating in Alaska.

We would suggest that more detailed cleaning needs to be done between occupancy in each cottage. We found used band aids on the bottom shelf of the night stand. We also found one on the floor beside the night stand along with a use bottled of your lotion too.

I liked the privacy of individual cabins!

I love the location, the cabins, and atmosphere! I stayed there back when Con Frank first built the place, specifically because, I knew him, and I think the idea of this place is great! I am originally from Nome, Alaska and I am from a big Construction family, when our family heard about this place we know that Con Frank is a great person, so we went to check out his place, and we recommend your place to all family and friends!

In Alaska many people have pets, especially people who travel the state to see friends and family, the fact that you do not allow pets was a big reason we had to stay elsewhere on our next visit, only 2 weeks later. We were in Fairbanks for 9 days, and we have a very well behaved, house trained pet, whom we had to have with us, so we couldn't stay at your place, which saddened us, because we really like it there. Most people who travel with pets are responsible individuals, who wouldn't ruin the place, but there are alot of us out there, and there are more and more hotels/motels allowing pets these days, because of the demand. I think especially since it is very accomodating to take a pet out for a walk to do their "business" that you would have very little trouble with pets. Do like other places! Charge a deposit, maybe require a credit card in addition to the deposit, people who are responsible with their pets do not mind paying the extra fee to have them!
