The room, decor, ambience, food, staff were all too notch!
I did not care for the smaller bar. Too confined and enclosed for my tastes. I much preferred the dining room bar.

This is an ideal place to stay when in Decorah. The place is comfortable, clean and in walking distance to most downtown businesses and restaurants.

Comfortable bed, spacious room, good food in Restauration Dining Room. Bar was very hospitable also.
Our sheer curtain was in need of repair. 2 chairs were not that comfortable for sitting. TV was not straight ahead for viewing, but the mechanism on which it was attached was beneficial.

Gracious old refurbished historical property, lots of room, bathroom with sinks outside the bath area, amazing pillows, parking.
Directions on how to regulate the temperature.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a family dinner in the dining room and the people who took care of us were really lovely.

We loved our large and spacious room. the best part was the hotel staff. Melissa checked us in early and did everything to make out stay ejoyable and comfortable. othere staff made sure the AC was at the right temperature and we had the blankets we needed. again the stafff made the difference especially the effficent and nice Melissa.
