Location: very close to university buildings, which for me was good!
Breakfast: you have to go elsewhere. This is not necessarily bad but whenyou are in a hurry it is inconvenint. Maybe something simple like a vending machine offering yoghurt or so would help.

Close to school campus
Everything about the hotel. No fridge or microwave. The room is filthy. From beddings to bathrooms. The ceiling was peeling off from the rain. The ironing board and iron are dirty and full of stains. The hallways, garage and elevators are also very dirty and smelly. On top of it all I paid a premium price for my accommodation. This hotel needs to be torn down and rebuild.

My room was very clean and one of the largest rooms ever! Very comfortable bed and nice shower. A/C worked perfectly. Staff was friendly and helpful to me, an out-of-state senior. Location was perfect for restaurants, small 24-hour grocery, and UVA Hospital. Would definitely stay again.

Direkt gegenueber eine recht laute Fabrik. Alle Fruestuecksmoeglichkeiten in der Umgebung sind waehrend der Universitaetsferien geschlossen oder erst spaet geoeffnet.

The reason we choose this hotel each year is its pet policy, which allows us to make the trip with our dogs.
That said, except for the ongoing freshening project (mentioned in "no like") the facility has everything we need.
There was a freshening going on, new mattresses being moved and other such activity that did not add to the atmosphere. Since we know this is not going to happen all the time, it's nothing that would keep us from choosing it on another visit to C'ville.

The King size bed was extremely comfortable.
1. The heating vent had a huge rattle - it was impossible to sleep with the vent on.
2. When the cups and TINY kleenex pack were used up they were not replaced by the housekeeping staff.
3. A blouse I had washed out and hung up to dry was found on the floor that evening and fresh towels had been placed on the rack. No, it didn't fall down by itself because it was pushed over towards the tub.
