I like the character of the hotel and its downtown location. This is my second time staying at the Black Hawk. I also appreciate the staff's offer to store my bike overnight in the library, and advice on where to park my car (parking was pretty tight the night I stayed).
There's nothing I didn't like.

We got ready for our wedding here. The staff were more than friendly, they went above and beyond to allow our photos to be taken in the library. They are amazing pictures thanks to all of the character atthe hotel!

Love the atmosphere. We have stayed in both the main hotel and the annex and enjoyed both
On our last stay in the annex the bed was less than comfortable and we had a hard time regulating the a/c...to cold when it was running and too hot when it shut off. But it was very hot & humid outside

The decor is most time-authentic yet quite functional. Our group was accommodated most generously and encouraged to use the lobby area as our gathering point - we were well pleased.
No - they did an excellent job of providing us with a place for our reunion.

Staff was cheerful, helpful and polite. Accommodations were a VERY good bargain.
The room door was difficult to close and made a lot of noise in the process.

We had a corner room and it was quite.Loved having the bar and restaurant in the hotel.Get service and good there.

The cleaning staff and clerk were amazing. Nice room decent location great for wandering around downtown and not having to drive.
The channel selection on the TV was pretty minimal.
