The staff was so very helpful. The breakfast hit the spot on a busy morning. It was a good choice for
a basic room. We were told a renovation is coming. We will stay at Pear Tree Inn again if traveling to
Cape Girardeau.

Though not a new motel, everything was clean and smelled fresh.Everyone, including the maids, were very friendly. We felt safe because the outer doors could only be opened by a room key.

Great location for traveling north or south on Interstate 55, and plenty of television stations available in the room. Polite staff.
Entrances have very heavy glass doors with no automatic sliding doors, making it difficult for someone like me who has a physical impairment of one arm/hand......and, I would guess, elderly people who might be frail......to maneuver a bellcart in and out while trying to hold the door(s) open. I don't know if it is cost prohibitive, but sliding automatic doors would make a huge positive difference.

Very small bathroom/sink area. Very small breakfast area.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and polite.
The air conditioning did not work very well in either of the 2 rooms we had. The ice machine did not work. The lady at the fromt desk checked the air but there was nothing she could do until the morning. We were leaving in the morning so it didn't really matter. She did get us some ice from another machine in the back. This hotel was over priced for the ammenities and quality of the hotel.
