This is a great location in Berkeley. The rooms are new and very nicely laid out.The room also provided a few extras that were well thought out like disposable slippers, a razor and shave cream and an umbrella. Very thoughtful!
The walls of the hotel are paper thin. Fortunately our neighbors went to sleep at about the same time as we did. It was quite unfortunately we could hear ever word they said spoken at a normal talking volume. Also our sliding door did not lock. Our room was on the third floor so it was not a real issue but it does appear that the hotel needs to keep up with that sort of thing.

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially if you in difficulty. Some of the best sandwiches that I ever had in the "bistro".
I would have liked a little more water pressure in the shadow, but it was certainly adequate.
