We actually enjoyed listening to the seals on the east side of the building. Didn't experience the pool area as we didn't think to bring swim suits. Liked having pizza delivered to our room without having to go get it. We like the location. It was a nice surprise to discover the rogue brewery next door. Also the cleanliness was a very nice welcoming to the room.
Our room was very heated and even ran the AC all night and we were still way too hot. The unit didn't do a very good job cooling down the room. We also noticed with the curtains closed to block out the street light that the AC would catch the curtains and take a way from blowing around the room. So we had to leave them cracked in order to get any air flow. Not sure if this is just an upper level issue of our room. It's not a big deal. That's just what placed the comfort on the low side.
