Location of hotel, parking, excellent breakfast, staff were efficient, polite and get helpful. Room was clean and tidy.
Could have provided more milk and biscuits, would have liked a bath.

Staff, breakfast, closeness to the centre of York.
Would have preferred a room at the rear with no stairs. It would have been helpful if it had been indicated on booking that we would be in a room with three flights of stairs, as we are not getting any younger, both retired.

Excellent location. Secure parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast buffet (fruit, cereals, breads etc.). Comfortable room.
Cooked breakfast not as good as the last time we stayed at the hotel.

Main reason for choosing The Minster Hotel York: 价格
I would highly recommend The Minster Hotel in York. The hotel is clean and stylish. The location couldn't be better for walking around York. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I showed up, the receptionist took one look at me (old and out of shape) and said she had put me on the top floor (no lift) and moved me to the ground floor without even making me try to walk up the 4 flights. Great place and I will stay there again next time I go to York.
