Enjoyed the hotel and the staff, very much. Wonderful to stay in a historic hotel that is beautifully taken care of and is so much a part of the community.

I loved the location and the charm of the hotel. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was a decent size.
I was at the hotel for a wedding. The bride was offered the Augusta room to get ready. Besides the very "conferency" feel to the room and it's furnishings, there was only one outlet. For a bride and her posse to get ready for one of the biggest days of her life, one outlet isn't going to cut it! Also, the air conditioner kept going out. We called maintenance, and Jared responded quickly, and came in to check on us frequently. He also brought a power strip so we could plug in our curling irons and other standard wedding prep appliances. He was very kind, and handled the bridezilla well. The situation did put a strain on an already stressful day, but we managed.

Proximity to the Blackfriar's Theatre as well as the value.
PLEASE REPLACE THE BARSTOOLS IN SORREL'S. They are very uncomfortable and tend to tip you out of the stool instead of being flat. Yes, I am quite short (4'11") but even my husband who is normal height was uncomfortable in them.

Very good accommodation for pets
I would like to have been told about the $50 fee for pets AND the hook on the back of the bathroom door was wayyyyy toooo high for me to reach. Breakfast buffet food was cold (especially the biscuits)
