Attractive hotel, enjoyed relaxing in the cocktail lounge, location re walk into Main Street, as well as access to surrounding areas which we enjoyed.

The Stonewall Jackson is a beautiful, historic building, centrally located to all of downtown Staunton. The staff were very helpful when we had requests and questions. The pool and hot tub were clean and the workout room was great for exercise on the road. We will stay there each time we visit Staunton.

Next door to Blackfriars playhouses (theatre).
Staff didn't seem to know about fine dinning restaurants close by.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful, the room clean and very comfortable, and the hotel well located in Staunton. I will recommend this hotel unreservedly to anyone who wants to visit Staunton as a wonderful part of their stay.
Breakfast was expensive for what was offered

This is a beautiful historic hotel within walking distance of the quaint downtown of Staunton,VA. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, and the room are great. This was not our first stay here and will not be our last! It is a bit expensive but worth it!

Everything. We stay at the SJ at least two times a year and always find it most enjoyable. We are so happy that they restored this Staunton treasure!
Because the hotel was sold out (great!), the pool was crowded (not great!). I'm just kidding, of course. We managed to squeeze in a very nice swim and some time in the hot tub.
