Best Western Plus Abbey Inn

We always look forward to staying at the Abbey Inn when we visit St. George. Quiet, clean and comfortable. We love the pool area.

While staying there this time there was a planned power outage. We were unaware of it until our lights went out. We went down to the register desk and they told us it was planned and they had posted a note on the door. However, when we checked in on Saturday prior we didn't see it and were not told. We had reserved our room with Expedia then decided to arrive 2 days ahead of schedule. We were able to rent a room but had to change rooms for our original reservation. So, during that power outage we had to lug our luggage down two flights of stairs across the parking lot and up 3 flights of stairs to our new room. It was just a little inconvenient!

The staff, cleanliness, pool area w/ BBQ, room size, upscale décor, recent renovation, and full hot breakfast where all excellent. Had the feel of a five star hotel. The best Best Western we have ever stayed in.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The room was nice, the TV screen was large and easy to see.

The options for maid service were limited. Either full service, no service, or replace towels. I checked replace towels, and that's all they did. No replacement coffee, etc. Maybe a few more options in-between.

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn for years and always enjoy the entire experience. It is a great facility in a great location with a friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean and comfortable, breakfast is fantastic. Love having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room.

I like everything about this hotel.

My request for a room near elevator was readily granted. Free breakfast was great. Clean and spacious room.

We did not realize that there was some sort of bonus or discount when we stayed at Abbey and went to Tuachan, we did both things. We did love our stay with you people though and we really loved the evening at Tuachan (it was our first time there and it definitely will not be our last!!) We look forward to visiting both places again.

The willingness of your staff to be flexible on our check-out time. We had such a great time at the pool, we lost track of time, and needed a bit longer to get ready to leave. I travel a lot for my work, and have generally been a Marriott patron. I will definitely start looking at Best Western Plus options. Comfy beds, nice hotel. My family and I will definitely stay there again.

There was a gross sticky spot on the carpet... Asked to have it taken care of, but it never happened. They did offer to move us to another room the first day, but we had already unpacked and really just wanted the spot taken care of. Just put a towel on it for the remainder of our visit.

The staff here was top notch. They were friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our accommodations. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through St George. Great place to stay.
