Enjoyed the parking spot right outside my ground floor room. Nice, cozy room too. The staf and spa facilities were wonderful! Good food in the restaurant too!

We always stay here when driving to Halifax from Toronto. We enjoy the two restaurants and the friendly staff. There is a cozy bar to enjoy a drink before dinner (it is a good place to practice our limited French in a casual friendly environment).

The swimming pool was nice. Room was comfortable.
We arrived around 18h, checked in and settled our stuff before going to the restaurant for supper. No chance there, it was booked solid until 20h30. So we found a nice family diner in town.

I hated having a balcony on the pool... and most, not being informed that there was a pool, and that my room had a balcony.

Although we only stayed one nite, the service we had was excellent. Lots of amenities close by, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel and have done so several times.

J'adore l'Hôtel Universel. Les chambre permettent un vrai cocooning. C'est silencieux, les chambres super belles et les lits très confortable. On y va chaque fois que l'on est dans le coin. Tellement reposant.

Convenient off the highway, close to amenities. Loved the pool and my kids loved the slides.
Wish breakfast was included.
