Excellent facilities - attention to the small details (able to ask for milk in the room etc) - friendliness of staff - very good food - and very good value.

An enjoyable drink at the bar followed by dinner, excellent breakfast. A nice break on our journey to Scotland. The barman ( I have forgotten his name) was excellent and we enjoyed talking to him.
Although clean, the tables in the dining room feel sticky. I understand this is the type of cleaning agent used. We don't like it as it makes therm feel like cheap cafe tables!
