I enjoyed the location and view from my 5th floor room.The staff was very helpful friendly, and accommodating.I like this vintage hotel, and would stay there again.
The hotel needs a little carpet cleaning or replacement and some of the bathroom fixtures need replacing.

The location was fine for all we planned to do while visiting the city.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning was out over the weekend.

Rooms were well appointed, nice veiws from the windows. Bed was comfortable.
The maids were nice as was the dining room wait people.
The morning breakfast buffet was nice.
We booked the hotel because it had a pool, only to find that they closed the pool because of a ordinance. This ordinance stimulates that because it is not wheelchair accessable then no one can use the pool.
There are more rooms then parking. Our check-in person didn't allow us to room next to either our sons or brother and sister-in-law. He placed us on three different floors. There is no evening dining on site, and one of the cooks was rude to other guest during the hours of the breakfast.

Staff was helpful and friendly.
This hotel is in desperate need of updating. Wallpaper is pulling off the walls, bedding is frayed and in spite of the facility being a non-smoking property, hallways and some rooms smelled of smoke.

Air conditioning did not work. Room very hot. Staff did not even try to fix it just gave me a fan.
Ice machine on my floor out of service.
Room key card quit working after using it once. They had to fix the door lock.

Low price
The carpet was sticky, the tub had stains, we were afraid to use it (though my daughter was brave), the elevator felt as though someone was pulling a chain to get us up and down (we even posted a joke video about it). We just kept saying "it's only one night, we can survive". Our beds were lumpy. We had a poor, old room while my brother had a newly remodeled suite. We could not get a different room as we needed two beds and the new rooms only had kings. Will never stay here again. The place was awful.

Close to where I wanted to be. Friendly. You usually have a good breakfast, although I didn't eat there this time.
The faucet in the tub dripped significantly. I thought it was interesting that you promote using the sheets and towels more than once (which is great) to save water, but have leaking faucets. The tub was also in need of attention the finish was peeling which made it look a little dirty although I don't think it was. Saturday night was pretty noisy with sounds of people outside at late hours (1:00 and 2:00 in the morning), but I don't think there was much that could be done about that.
