Grand Hotel Ocean City Oceanfront

The staff was great and polite, the rooms were spacious, TV worked well, beds were very comfortable and the balcony had a great view. The pool was great, the work-out room was nice and all amenities were good. Great place to stay!

We had a handicapped room and the shower curtain was too short and the water would fly onto the floor. This was a walk-in shower in room 920, we tried to keep the water inside but the shower head was not working correctly so we had to hold it most of the time.

Room was very large - great for 4 people, but bathroom was tiny. Kitchen had microwave, refridgerator, lots of cabinets...but nothing in the cabinets...so a little deceptive for eating in. Tile floor in bed room (I guess for ease of cleaning & getting up sand...but the hallway was carpeted. So kind of odd. Really over priced for quality of room. Workout room didn't have weights;

We were very pleased with our stay at the Grand Hotel & Spa. The proximity to the beach and ocean is awesome. Our rooms were very nice and the view from the balconies was great. Unfortunately the weather was not what we hoped it would be. In spite of this we had a lovely vacation.

We were disappointed in the restaurant on the 6th floor. We ate breakfast there the first day of our stay. The host was not at all friendly and the service very slow. I had Eggs Benedict. The yolks were totally overcooked. It was like eating hot hard-boiled eggs. When I expressed my disappointment to the host his answer was a casual shrug. Then when my husband paid the bill, the host asked if he could keep the change! (We had left the tip on the table but in hindsight we wished we had left less than the standard 20%. ). Needless to say we ate all the rest of our meals elsewhere.

Very clean & quiet, well stocked with towels, etc. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Coffee maker but no glass coffee cups, I dislike drinking out of the styrofoam cups provided. Also it would have been nice to have a comfortable "reading" chair in the room, especially in the cold months.
