We chose Pacific Inn because they were pet friendly. They do have a small fenced area dedicated for pets to run without a leash. The hotel is not within walking distance of fisherman's wharf or other attractions but it is A short easy drive to the attractions. They do serve a continental breakfast. If you want more there is a grandma's kitchen adjacent to the property. Hotel may seem to be a little pricey but those with pets know that it's hard to find a pet friendly hotel in areas like Monterey.

Very friendly courteous staff. Extremely good location and was able to park out of sight.
I would stay here again and have no negatives to report.
