The Inn at Creek Street

Ketchikan treated me like Royalty every step of the way. The Inn sent a shuttle to Taquan Air responding to the call by the gal at Taquan's desk, maybe took 5 minutes. They laughed and added mirth to my stories of having been a fisherman back in the days when the Shamrock, A Chapel By the Sea, a notorious striptease joint had stood on the corner of Creek Street. I prefer to be left to my own devise with little fawning, they quickly retreated after assurances that my needs were serviced. I' shall return!

Jessica was amazing. I got severely sick with food poisoning (from a restaurant back home) and she went to the store for me to get me some food. I literally could not get out of bed for 36 hours. My room overlooked the harbor so I could see the ships and float planes, hear the birds and listen to the children fishing across the street. When I was finally able to get up and wander around a little it was wonderful to have the creek, historic buildings, and trails right out the door. I spread the word around town how nice the accommodations and staff were. Across the board all the locals agreed. I very much appreciated their compassion and friendliness.

Honestly, I was rather confused by one employee when I checked out. I seemed to have offended her deeply by mistaking her for the woman of the previous day.

It is a historical landmark that has kept its character. This coincides with the history of the area as well. The decore is simple and not modern but only gives a home feel. I would stay there again without any problems.

Les chambres sont démodés et pittoresque. Des lits confortables. Nice people. Bon emplacement en centre-ville pour.

Le propriétaire était très gentil et serviable. L'hôtel était fidèle à ses racines historiques, mais encore très confortable. Excellent rapport qualité et l'emplacement. J'ai adoré chaque instant passé ici.
