Super 8 by Wyndham Ketchikan

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast. Fresh Muffins would have been nice. There was an employee on the Monday morning shift that provided me with some clean bedding.

The pillowcases were dirty and the sheets had fuzz balls on them. I call down to the front desk to request two additional pillows and two clean pillowcases. I received two pillowcase covers. I think your décor needs to be updated to something brighter.

I have tried to contact your organization many times, to get an actual receipt for the stay at the hotel. I cannot get reimbursed by my employer for the stay until I receive an actual receipt. Please contact me to resolve this situation.

Since staying there I have found a better place for less for locals. less cost, better rooms and all around stay. As a new commer to the area M8 was a great buy now that I ahve been here for a while i have figured out better. I am spending 140-150 a night at M8 i can get a much better place for 95 a night at Cape Fox during the winter. Thanks

The Breakfast was OK. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The walk to downtown wasn't to far. The store is very close.

Proximity to float plane take off area made it very noisy at times mostly early morning. Price of rooms compared to quality and cleanliness wasn't what I expected.

The view was fantastic, the hotels location was great.

We were able to check in early

The van pool lady was a little short with us in the morning. We could only go as fast as the clerk could check us out, like she was trying to hurry us

Booked 2 rooms but they weren't together, while I did enjoy the view my friends had none

They have the best price in Ketchikan, during the winter months. I really like the location, since it's next door to the Plaza Mall, with a sub-post office, where it's convenient to ship my supplies to my home village on nearby Prince of Wales Island. In the mall, Carrs-Safeway has a deli with affordable meals, which makes it easy to find something to eat. Heat and eat meals are nice to have at Super 8, since they have a microwave in the lobby area.

There are no lotions or conditioners in the bathrooms, which strikes me as being stingy of them. The tables and chairs in the rooms are ancient, utilitarian, but still serviceable, just not especially attractive. The decor is not particularly attractive, and there are no privacy sheer curtains to keep neighboring people in the condo next door from viewing guests when the drapes are open. The rooms are bare bones, and no flat screen TVs yet. Last I saw, there were no tables in the rooms with two queen beds. Also several years ago, staff are not allowed to visit relatives and friends in guest rooms, although many times, staff have visiting folks who stay there. I'm not clear as to why this would not be allowed, or if it was a chain wide policy or not.

Il avait de la moisissure dans la douche, le lit était dans le besoin d'un nouveau matelas, et des parois très minces. Si on leur donne le choix, je ne vais pas rester ici à nouveau.

Petit déjeuner gratuit pourquoi j'ai choisi cet hôtel par rapport à un autre. Navette aller à Walmart était bonne option.
