The friendliness & kindness of the staff on all 3 shifts. We made several requests including a delayed checkout time, and all were accommodated.
Unpaved parking on the west side which was the closest entry door to the room. This caused some inconvenience in handling the luggage.
The room key swipe mechanism was extremely hard to operate. Having to raise the rain cover and swipe the card at the same time was difficult. Also, the swipe pad is on the left side making it a crossover action for right handers.

WE ended up with an accessible room and the shower did not have an adequate curtan allowing the entire bathroom floor to get wet.

So clean, staff so friendly, wonderful location for Houghton with a nice view. Nice pool and sauna area, too.
Breakfast bar needs a couple more items like a meat choice.

Clean rooms, great room cleaning service, plenty of rooms to choose from
The hotel is right off the snowmobile trail so if you like your sleep, get a lakeside room.

The location for me is perfect, also the room was neat and comfortable.
My only complaint would be the internet seemed a bit slow, not a deal breaker.

Pool and hottup were both large. I didn't use the sauna but my husband enjoyed it. It also had a nice breakfast area and the staff made sure nothing ran out.
If I had more than a one-night stay, I would have liked a fridge in the room.
