The views were great

The staff was very nice and the room was very comfortable and well maintained. The views were absolutely stunning

The breakfast was over priced and not the best I have had, too much chlorine in the pool area for my taste along with it being very slippery

The beautiful overview of the city from the room balcony(which hotel one tries to trick you into paying a higher price for a balcony room.(they ALL have balconies but there are NO fireplaces which hotel one tries to make you select a higher price if you fooled)

Not really-the rooms are individually heated with old thru the wall heat and air units that are very hard to control.We had to open a door at night to keep it cooler and override the heater.Other than that it was fine--an excellent buffet breakfast($13.00 per person)-I would recommend the price on the internet that includes breakfast buffett.

The host at the hostess stand was asked to sit us in a booth which had to be cleaned. Instead he decided to sit us right behind his host stand in an awkard table so we decided to eat else where. Everything else was wonderful However we decided that we would eat all our meals out after that experience. Especially since we requested another area to sit.

Spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains - Comfortable beds.

We loved the pool and hot tub, and loved the view.

I think they should have complimentary coffee and fruit or cookies like most hotels. Also their check in is very late. Otherwise it was nice. I enjoy nice warm pools and very hot hot tubs.

The location was great, with a good view of the New Year's fireworks and lights over the city. We have stayed here 5 times in the last 12 years, and usually consider this our first choice location for Gatlinburg.

We stayed New Year's week--the staff appeared completely overwhelmed the entire week. The initial check-in was delayed until 6pm so they could clean the rooms. The phone number for room service rings without an answer; when this was explored, the phone receiver was scotch-taped to the cord and did not consistently ring. The restaurant service was spotty, with a wait to get a table in a half-way filled dining room and a line a the cash register to exit. One evening, we returned to our room to find the door propped open by the night latch, with no one inside and the room half-way cleaned (coffee grounds still in coffee pot, dirty glasswear, but clean towels and beds made); fortunately nothing was apparently missing, and the manager was nice enough to make a report of the incident. All in all, the experience left a sour impression to a place we have enjoyed on many previous occasions.

The view was breathtaking.

Yes, they overbooked and so we were not able to get the suite we had ordered. They were apologetic, and we made do with another option. But, it was disappointing to not get the 2 bedroom, 2 bath, suite we were supposed to have.

Everything. Absolutely everything.

The WiFi could have been free.
