Everything was perfect

Location. Just a few steps away from the beach and local restaurants.

Desk staff. I had stayed there before and hot breakfast was included; however, when I inquired about it, the staff gave me an attitude stating that she had work there for the last five years and never heard of such a thing as free breakfast. She added that maybe I stayed somewhere else (implying a cheaper hotel), with a little laugh. That made me feel as if i didn't belong there...even though I can afford it. On our second day, as we were heading out on an outing, I asked the housekeeping lady to take the crib out of the room, since my toddler did not fit in it. She told another lady that I did not need for my room to get cleaned. I clarified that they should follow their routine. When we came back two hours later, she apologized for not getting to our room earlier.I said we'll step out on the balcony while you clean. However, she changed the towels and took out the trash, but did not clean the room. We had stayed there before and had a pleasant experience...even during the renovation. Not anymore

The complimentary breakfast given to me after I asked for it at check in they did not get the note specifically reserving a room with ocean view clearly printed on the paid invoice and when I reserved the room

The management of the Hotel gave me a room on the 3rd floor Roof top not what I had requested it was Valentines day we drove in from San Antonio at 8 pm to the Hotel and the first thing the lady said your room if facing the City of Corpus and I said wait a min. showed her my rec. and she said let me see want I can do well I was pretty upset but remained calm. Air condition unit needs to be replaced was very very loud we made the best of the situation.
