Beautiful lobby. The guest rooms are a nice size but a bit "tired". Food in the Lockwood restaurant is very good. The gym facility it top notch.

Staff was great and really made us feel at home and provided us an upgrade to a room with a nice view. Front desk provided great recommendations for dinner that were really spot on. The hotel is really beautiful and I loved the old photos of entertainers on the walls. Really felt like I was going back in time. Beds were very comfortable.

Service excellent, personnel courteous and helpful. Beautiful hotel we liked the ambience from the 20th century decor. Loved all the pictures of the stars who visited or stayed at the hotel. Do not change. Everyone should experience the elegance of this historical hotel. We loved our stay.
Small bathroom but clean updated, toilet holder access difficult to reach find better location,

We liked the pool and fitness area. The overall feel of the hotel was a cool experience.
The bathroom was really small and hard to move around in. We suggested to sacrifice some of the room and make the bathroom larger.
Also, we did like the breakfast bar, however the service was not all that great.

I love the Palmer House. It is my regular choice when I'm in Chicago. The absolute best lobby you would ever find. The location cannot be beat. I was there to see Hamilton and didn't even realize it was playing less than a block away. I would have chosen the Palmer House even if it were in another part of town from my reason for going. My rooms have been spacious and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. What's not to love?
Not one single thing.

Within walking distance from Hamilton theater.
It was very noisy the first night. It's not that there was a party, but we kept hearing people's voices in conversations.
