We appreciate the friendly and attentive front desk and valet staffs. Can’t beat the location for downtown Birmingham events.
Our only complaint is the morning breakfast on the 8th floor. Unappetizing and uninspired. Given the hotel’s advantageous location, the quality of the facility, and the hotel’s historic stature, I think the Tutwiler Hotel could do much better.

I like the physical facility. I like old buildings with a history. And I enjoyed the location. I liked being close to a park.
The air-conditioning was not functioning well in my room. Seemed OK elsewhere in the hotel public spaces.

Great location, great bar/restaurant, great front desk staff
Why was I not given a "folio" of the charges incurred during my stay? I asked for one upon checking out, and was told YOU would be sending one to me.

Gracious staff, very comfortable room.
The complimentary breakfast leaves a lot to be desired-the room was lovely, but the food was awful.

We were very pleased with the Hotel and the service. We enjoyed our breakfast and everyone was very helpful. The next time we're in Birmingham we will stay at your Hotel.
