Beautiful room with comfortable bed and great bathroom, excellent service
If the room happens to be oriented with windows on the street, consider bringing earplugs to protect against street noise.

The location is great if you want to explore Berkeley. The BART subway entrance it literally steps away.
Everything was great.

Great location and a wonderful restaurant. it also has a relationship with the YMCA a block away that gives you access to a very completely outfitted gym.
The work out facility is not much and has limited hours. Access to the Y down the street makes that less important.

Staff in lobby and room service was fast
Parking in the garage across from the hotel was a problem.Being active and going out serveral times the parking situation became a drag. You had to pay every time.
Why wouldn't work a deal with garage owner and give guess a "keycard" and charge a flat daily fee to them. That would make the in/out process so much easier and not reflect on the hotel- guest experience. The garage owner gets his money and your guest have convient parking.
