I'm a great fan of AmericInn and we seldom stay anywhere else - but THIS LOCATION was a special treat. We had a room overlooking the lake and the view was fantastic, the room was in superb condition (cleanliness and amenities), and the staff was helpful and cordial - we wished we'd been able to stay there longer!! I would recommend this location without hesitation. It was outstanding.

This americ inn had everything a person would need and great for a family. Not only did this hotel have a pool and sauna but many outside, yard games for families traveling with children.

There was nothing that I disliked with my stay.

Beautiful view of Lake Superior, serene, excellent room.

The staff (i.e., Registration Desk staff; housekeeping staff; and, the Dining Room staff)were wonderful - welcoming, kind, helpful and able to answer my questions. In addition, the staff is honest! When I was leaving a tip in my room for the housekeeper, I dropped a $50 bill on to the floor, but I didn't realize this had happened. After I checked out I had several calls from Venise to call about something I left at the hotel. When I spoke with Venise, I learned that housekeeping found the money I had dropped in my room and turned it in to Venise. Venise mailed the money to me at my request! I was so grateful!!!

Tons of kids. It would be nice if the adult only pool time started earlier than 10:00 pm
