This 14-acre complex is beautifully landscaped and made to look like the harbor did 100 years ago.

Beaches

San Diego has 70 miles of spectacular coastline, crammed with an array of magnificent beaches. Surfers head to San Onofre State Beach in the north, noted for its rugged, windswept beauty as well as impressive breaks and swells. Those seeking surfing opportunities served with a generous order of dining and entertainment make a beeline for the Pacific Beach Park.

Stretching from Mission Bay to the La Jolla Cliffs, this area’s lively atmosphere makes it popular with young people throughout the day and night. Walkers, rollerbladers and cyclists crowd the three-mile boardwalk that is lined with a variety of restaurants and bars, while lucky visitors stay at the historic Crystal Pier, which runs adjacent and boasts incredible views. Tourmaline Surfing Beach can be found on the La Jolla Cliffs side of the park, and the North Pacific Beach provides a quieter pick popular with families.
