Nice Hotel in a prime location.
I had booked a bed with a kingsize bed and was expecting a big room with a panoramic view, but was slightly dissapointed upon arrival as it looked like a standard room.
And i was very angry when i used the shower, as the drian was blocked, and the shower kept filling with water, i had to keep switching the shower off and wait a few minutes for the water to go down, I even resorted to using a glass to empty the water into the sink to stop it overflowing onto the floor. A 15 minute shower, took me 55 mins due to this problem, so i was not happy! We were checking out straight after, so i told the receptionist about the problem and all i got was an apology and that they would send someone to fix it ready for the next guest!

Location, Restaurants and food. Friendly, efficient staff.
Parking was inadequate and difficult.
Room furnishings were a bit utilitarian. Drawers would have been nice.
I would have preferred a bathtub to the shower.

Great location, very central, easy walking distance from railway Station.
Unfortunately we had to evacuate the hotel at 2.00 a.m. due to another guest setting the alarm off by accident!

For price I would have expected breakfast to be included. Reception staff could have been more customer friendly

Simple, clean, friendly, situated in a lovely location (for a City Hotel) and very close to all the visitor attractions. I would certainly recommend this Hotel to anyone- after the lift have been fixed/replaced. Food and service was, likewise, excellent - tasty, well presented, and not too much!
Lack of Hotel Car Parking Facility - albeit that I did manage to park in the existing Car Park
