Beautiful room with amazing view of the harbor. Good restaurant
Hoping that the Cat Ferry makes it back to Yarmouth Second time we have booked rooms since 2017, planning on taking the Cat Ferry
Not the fault of the hotel but would have stayed an extra night if it was available.

We liked everything . the location, the fact that there was a restaurant and the craft fair was great.
We wanted to go to the music on Friday evening but the music was so loud we couldn't stay.You could think about turning the volume down a bit. I heard that some people even danced out in the entry because they couldn't stand the volume.

Everyone was helpful and the service was quick. The breakfast I chose was perfect for me and I have only positive thoughts about the hotel. The selection of the room showed a great view of Cape Forchu.

The staff were very friendly and the food at the on site restaurant was delicious. The room was clean.
It could definitely use some upgrades. The bathroom seemed very outdated.

Hotel staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were wonderfully friendly. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry, I deeply this value this - especially in a gateway town like Yarmouth.
This is not a complaint, simply an observation: the Rodd Grand is an older property that would benefit from a bit of 'brightening up,' example, hallway lighting, lighter colours in decor.

The number one thing I appreciated about my stay at the Grand Hotel was the bed!I wish I still had it with me - so comfortable! That being said, the location of the hotel is perfect for people taking The CAT ferry, so close. Also there are delicious meals served right off the lobby adding to the convenience. The views of the water from the room are good, plus their TV service actually has some channels people like other than sports and news - big points for that! Free water and wine in the room was a nice touch too.
I have nothing bad to say about this hotel at all. If they want to improve one thing I would say just update the look of the lobby and the ramp to the side door.
