Main reason for choosing Kimpton Cardinal Hotel, an IHG Hotel: Reputation
The lobby and living room are beautiful and comfortable. Shower is fantastic. Restaurant is open but warm and charming. Staff very friendly. You'd expect stuffy but many guests wore casual clothing such as jeans and khakis. The game room is great fun - you can pair your phone to the jukebox which delighted us. We ended up not leaving the hotel for 24 hours!
Coffee is not served in the lobby until 7 am. And while you can request it, there is not a coffee maker in the room. The thermostat in the room will not go below 67- and I like it to be cooler than that when I sleep.
