Spacious clean room with small refrigerator and microwave; comfortable bed/pillow, quiet area, easily accessible to Eastern States fair grounds; variety of surrounding options for food and shopping

Most everthing was good. Pool and jacuzzi clean, nice breakfast, good location.
Yes the fact that my door to the room wouldn't shut tight and couldn't use dead bolt or safety lock

Main reason for choosing Comfort Inn & Suites: Location
The desk clerk, Harold was sensitive to my wife's inability to do stairs and moved us to a more accessible room. I thought the staff did a very good job with the breakfast being ready and available up to the ending time. The room was very good and clean. The staff was very friendly.
The electric plugs I tried to use were worn out and loose. Three that I know of need to be replaced.

Main reason for choosing Comfort Inn & Suites: Reputation
The hotel was clean, the guy at the front desk was welcoming, and had helpful advice about where to find a decent meal, the bed was comfortable, the heat worked. The price was fair, but not a bargain rate (therefore the "7" rating).
The biggest problem was the location. We had a bit of difficulty finding it, out of the way as it was.

Loved the breakfast. It was fresh, clean, neat. We could tell someone put a lot of thought into it. Loved the eggs, the sausage and the waffle. Better than most hotels we've stayed at. Also the room was clean, comfortable and user friendly. We especially loved the bed and pillows. In fact we loved the pillows so much that we've been trying to find out how to buy the exact pillows.
The down sides were that there was no elevator. I had to bring my wheelchair bound elderly mother up the stairs. The other issue was the lack of care in the halls. Dirty rugs, broken tiles on stair treads and broken door locks/hardware. The front desk girl did offer to help with my mother which redeemed that situation a little.

Good location-close to Springfield College and easy on/off interstate.Upgrades needed. Old, tiles chipping, etc but it was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Free breakfast basic.
Barely warm water for my shower in the morning-I told the manager and he was very nice and said "sorry, I thought they fixed the problem".

The breakfast was very nice and we used the washer and dryer. We appreciated that it was there.
While this motel is obviously older, it was clean and comfortable.

Bathroom fictures in need of repair. Remote location of hotel and parking caused me concern. Continental breakfast options were very limited and below what I have experienced at other hotels.
