Very upset at the inability of the hotel to provide a QUIET room. I have tinnitus, a constant ringing in the ears and continuous white noise aggravates it. The first night, my room overlooked the 395 freeway, the windows were letting in high levels of road noise. They moved me to an "inside" room overlooking the pool, however my room was 1219, overlooking some huge equipment that kept the inflatable pool cover inflated. This was also noisy. Please contact an acoustical consultant to find out how to damp noise coming into the rooms. I ended up taking a mattress off one of the beds and jamming it up against the glass slider door, that knocked down the noise another decibel. Also, the parking garage went up to $25 per night that was $50 for two nights. I really got tired of hearing that the hotel doesn't own the garage. That was very irritating. At $400 per night, you need to address the parking. The Holiday inn gives me some kind of discount.

I'm glad you asked. Upon arriving at 10:30 p.m. (our flight was delayed 2 hours, and we were very tired), we were informed by the desk clerk (AFTER LOOKING AT MY REASONABLE ROOM RATE from you), that the hotel was totally booked and there were no rooms (EVEN THOUGH I HAD A CONFIRMED RESERVATION). He was not the least bit interested. He told me they had OVERBOOKED the hotel and all he had was a sofa couch. Then when I protested, he referred me to the manager who said he might be able to accommodate us. He did. I might be wrong, but I feel that the reason all this happened was because I had a discounted room, since other people were checking in behind us and being accommodated. I'm concered that all of my reservations I made through you for Germany next May, may end the same way.
