Enjoyed the breakfast and relaxed on patio...and front desk staff went out of there way to help us with car service, faxing and other issues we encountered.

Parking is not easy and the rooms are so spread out.

Close to everything we needed to do, especially downtown shops, restaurants, miles of walking trails right next to hotel, accommodating staff, decent breakfast in AM, quiet location

We came early and I asked if we could leave our bags while we went to SF. I was told that the bags would be moved to our rooms as soon as they were available. Took your shuttle to Bart at noon. Returned on Bart at 8 pm and called and was told that the shuttle didn't run after 4pm! Really? Isn't that information we should have had before we left? When we arrived back at the hotel, our bags were still sitting behind the desk. The woman behind the desk was barely civil. I didn't say anything about the bags, so I'm not sure where the attitude came from. The carpets in the halls and rooms are dirty. The breakfast was barely edible. I saw hotel staff being rude to some customers during our arrival the first day. This could be a nice hotel, but you need to train your staff and clean the carpets. Also, a bit more security would be nice, I saw what seemed to be a homeless guy wandering around.
