Mostly the convince and the gardens. It is a beautiful spot.

That is was Not easy to make a reservation and I ended up paying ion advance.

I've stayed many times at the Lamp Liter. I enjoy the location and the setting. This time the front desk just wasn't that friendly and helpful.Nest time, I will probably try another inn in the area.

A Pepsi machine ate my dollar. This is not a big deal but I was in one of those Trump-like moods where I didn't feel like letting a big corporation steal my one dollar. I spoke with the woman at the front desk and she just did not have the right helpful vibe. She explained that the Lamp Liter was not allowed to refund my dollar but I was welcome to call the Pepsi Company. She required a little coaxing to try to find a number for me. She did say that if I didn't mind drinking out of a glass with ice I was free to buy a Pepsi at the Lamp Liter restaurant. You know that's not quite the hospitality I'm used to experiencing at the Lamp Liter. When I do my work, my motto is be the solution not the problem. I felt the woman at the front desk didn't necessarily share that philosophy.

The Lampliter is near our friends' house which made it very convenient. Housekeeping went out her way to find something I had lost.....it was under the bed! We ate breakfast in the coffee shop. The food was good and the wait staff friendly and efficient

Parking lot needs some upgrades!

Upon entry the room was cold, heater wouldn't work except on high heat and high fan, then the room got to hot. When trying to adjust,the room got cold,then to high. Nothing in the middle.
