It was wonderful from start to finish! Everything and everyone was top notch! The hotel is located on the harbor and perfectly situated! I would definitely ask about the Fairmont Gold at check-in- its definitely worth paying a little extra for this unbelievable lounge and special service!
Would be nice if there was a mirror spot outside of the bathroom. Girl's Trip is hard to get ready with one mirror in the bathroom.

My wife and I were very pleased and impressed with the kind, helpful, friendly, gracious and courteous service in every aspect. Especially noteworthy is that the service is done with sincerity but without ostentation. One is made to feel comfortable and 'right at home'. We would like to extend our 'thank you' to all those at the Fairmont Empress Hotel for a wonderful experience. We would also like encourage those who are planning hotel accommodation in Victoria, B.C., to seriously consider a stay at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.

EVERYTHING! The recent upgrades have restored the hotel property to its former glory .Victoria has a very walkable downtown. The double decker bus tour outside the front door across from the visitor info centre on the inner harbour near three museums in sight of the legislature . . . where do I stop ?! Widely varied shops and restaurants nearby .
The bar area in the evening was too dark without a headlamp .

The Staff was very nice, very competent, just how a well trained staff should be.

We had excellent service and had a fabulous vacation. We were treated with the utmost respect.
