The room was so nice. It was clean, and comfortable. It was big! Lots of room. Will definitely stay here again, if and when I travel back to Vancouver.

Convenient location although our room faced granville and it was noisy from a pub/club across the street. Granville had many homeless people which makes the location less appealing.
This is the 2nd time n 3 months we have stayed at the GEC. The sheets were clean but in both cases, there was long black hair on the sheets, one in the tub. A bit more attention by cleaning staff needed. The light in the bathroom fell out of the "under" in the middle of the night. Maintenance required.

Very helpful staff. Great recommendations for late evening meal in Yaketwon. Fridge, microwave, and kettle for tea were very convenient for breakfast and a quick bite. Location was to Yaletown, Granville Island, English Bay beach area, and bike rental shop for touring the area.
