Best Western Hotel Atrium Valence

Negative: The AC(climatisation) should be A MUST in every hotel even more when you are talking about south of France and in Summer, or at least the hotel should provide a ventilator in each room after all who can sleep when you are sweating. When i open the door the room smell like old. I asked for a smoking room and when i arrived they say that for today they had one but for the rest of the 3 nights they did not have. The area around the hotel is a bit ghetto like but we did not have any problems me and my girlfriend we had no car so we had to walk in every direction. After the first night i ended up with back pain but after the 2nd night it was gone i think i got use to the bed which is big but not to conffy. Positive: (Double Room With Bathtub, Queen size bed) The room was very spacious, big window with enough Tv channels to choose from 3 in english and like 25 in french, the toilette is very nice, modern (the edges of the mirror were teared) the bathtub is great good size, the shower is nice good pressure. The room had a small kitchen which i did not use but i think is a great asset for the room, and also it has a small fridge very useful for your drinks and food etc The location of the hotel is key, you are literally 7 minutes away walking from the train station (La Gare), and like 5 minute to the nearest shopping center and the center of the town. The staff was always happy to see us, very polite. Also the room has enough storage space for cloth. Even the facilities are good i will not recommend this hotel because of the fact that hotels are all about sleeping it should be a place to sleep but with that sun and no wind at all the room becomes an OVEN and you are not able to sleep properly even if you sleep with the window open.
