The main thing was the location.
Since I was there during the rain. I think that a walkway would be nice from room 23 and the patio to the dock. That would keep guest from walking thru the mud and tracking it back to the rooms.

We loved that we had the place almost to ourselves! Sun night. We sat on the dock until 1opm. The breakfast was delivered to our room and was fun/good. The bed was great.
We stayed in a King Lake front room. I would have liked the table and 2 chairs placed by the window, and to be more comfy- not metal chairs. Reading in bed was impossible due to low watt light bulbs and no thick reading pillows.

The newly renovated rooms and being lakeside.
I thought the price could have been a little lower in the winter considering the area.

The staff was very friendly and the "breakfast' was yummy especially the Swedish yogurt.
There are many "extra charges" and unfriendly notes such as "if you leave the lights or air conditioner on when you leave the room, you will be charged. There was no ice maker and you can "request" a small ziplock bag of ice. For a "lodge" room was pretty low in and old.
