The proximity to the Beach. Could see the Ocean and the Sunrise from the room Wonderful

The price of the pool drinks. Could have had a rental for Boogy boards and life vest for the guests ?

Loved being close to everything ~ beach, pier, shops restaurants. The beds were very comfortable & clean. The cleaning staff was superb, they didn't have enough towels & wash cloths but brought them as soon as they became available. :-)

When I booked on line with the booking co.(the number was listed with Hotel Tybee) I specifically asked for something 2nd floor or above...well I got ground floor. :-( The room was great except the carpet was really dirty! No walking barefoot! No porch furniture!

Much improved with new owners. Been staying here since the 80's when it was the Veranda. Very expensive though. Wouldn't be able to stay long.

Being able to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean, the waves,the sun rise. It was off-season, so there were no "kids" running around, just us "older Americans" walking to the beach and enjoying the ocean view. So nice, we did not even turn on the TV once! Loved the refrigerator in room.

No fan in bathroom to let out steam. Toiletries seemed fewer than last time. Maybe add a microwave.

I liked that it was close to beach and little strip.

Didn't like that u didn't offer pool/beach towels, hated the public parking right in front of hotel and tv sucked

Right on the beach...our room looked out over the dunes. The view was outstanding.

The hotel is charging Marriott prices for Holiday Inn facilities. The hotel is old and the rooms need a dramatic facelift. Hire a decorator! Police were on the property in force at least once to restrain some of the hotel guests.
