I like the way the hotel is laid out with the restaurant and bar that also serves food.
I booked a double room but got a twin this spoilt the occasion for me a little

There was a very pleasant easy-going atmosphere about what is less a luxury hotel - our Premier room wasn't that special - than a popular town pub/restaurant with accommodation above.
Apparently low water pressure caused less than 100% effectiveness of the flushing of the loo.

A spacious bathroom.
There was no lift. I found the stairs difficult.
