Holiday Inn St. John's Conference Centre, an IHG Hotel

Nothing stands out , It was the worst accommodations I have ever experienced.

Every thing, The room itself was not up to standard for the money I paid. I was put in the basement. Couldn't use the balcony because of construction going on the back. When you looked out the windows all you could see was piles of dirt. I didn't see any staff, , except for the ones looking after the wedding going on the floor above. There was no supplies in the room like shampoo cream etc. Not what I expected from a supposedly first class hotel. Mrs

They were very accommadating, We appreaciated every thing they did for us

Good location.

We were 3 adults in 1 room. When we arrived there was 4 coffee cups in the room and 4 water glasses. For the remainder of our time the cleaning staff took out the used cups and glasses but left the room with only 2 of each. When we came into our room every day after the first we had to call the front desk to get another cup and glass. Small thing but annoying.

I liked the East Side Mario restrant in side. All Holliday inns should have one. The food is great.

The location was good for my purpose,The room was adequite .

I booked the room on line. when i arrived, the guy at the front dest could only find a credit and asked for my credit card. He then told me my card was declined, and asked for a second card which he said was also declined.He then proceeded to tell me that i had best get hold of my credit card companies and have my accounts straightened out. He did however let me have a room for the night as I had a credit on his system. The ladies at the desk in the morning were great..They got the room booking sorted out quickly and were very pleasant. I contacted my credit card companies and was assured that there were no issues with my cards and they were supprised that I was declined by the hotel. They said they had no record of the card being declined....I'm not sure why this happened at your hotel, but it seems to me that the Night desk cleark may need some additional training.

Very unhappy about the fact that we had paid for the room and told us that it was not paid! He had returned by mail the invoice to be paid back in a second time!
