Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey

Room was clean and everything worked although hairdryer was a little erratic. Staff were friendly and breakfast was well prepared and cooked. Very good location although there is a lot of construction work going on at the Waterfront development it was not intrusive. Very convenient for ferry terminal (about 10 mins walk.

There were some complaints about queueing for breakfast but if you go down before 8.45am you will not have to wait. Swimming pool looks a lot bigger in e-brochure! I booked this hotel in March of this year and paid £174 per night per room for a 3 night stay. I recently noticed that there was a special offer of 15% off for a 3 night stay in a business class room. However, when I enquired about this at check out I was told it did not apply to me - this was a disappointment and I doubt I will book another stay with this chain so far in advance.

The kindness of staff. The service impecable. The excellent cuisine. The hotel's location.

For 2 people the space to store clothes and shoes is not enough. The night we left the radio and TV were disconnected.

Great location and wonderful staff. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed the dinner also.

It was difficult to find when we exited the ferry.

The location is fine. No noise at night. Lovely with access to indoor pool, sauna and gym. Nice with free internet access. The food was ok but did not live every time up to the 4 stars. Friendly and helpful staff at reception.

The waiters seemed too hurried and was very slow to get up to take orders, and also waited we often long for what you ordered. They were generally not so attentive. Salad we ordered for lunch were two of the corridors are not fresh and inviting. Limp and brown leaves and soft wrinkled tomatoes. When we objected, we were greeted with "oh, I'm sorry" and then it was apparently released! It had not always removed crumbs, etc. from the previous guests who had sat at the table, so the seats and the floor where they sat was more than a few times filled with crumbs. There was only Light yoghurt in the morning, no normal. yogurt! Much of the staff were foreign (Russian, port week's mission or Czech waiters), which could pose some language difficulties. When we asked the staff at reception to book taxi for us when we were at the airport, it was apparently been forgotten in the move, and only when we asked about where the taxi was on, it was ordered! There was no clearly an outdoor pool area, and it was just unfortunate that there were no rooms at the hotel with balcony or terrace. The windows were also "havllåste", meaning that you could only open the window 5 cm. before it is automatically locked. This precaution was created to prevent people would jump out of windows. (It was only the second floor we lived on). But a little annoying when you want to enjoy the weather and have fresh air into the room!

Damage at the reception desks we had not had one person speaking French!.

The cleanliness of the room, the view (we had business class) and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The view on the construction of the Quay we found annoying and especially because no mention was made and no discount was granted for this inconvenience. The latter would have been in place since the room was surely expensive!

Excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed .. perfect location ..

Bathroom: after a shower, it's completely flooded! very annoying for a hotel of this quality! AC has lost its charm!
