No hot water, the hot tub was cold, the sauna was cold and it stunk.

Convenient to shopping
The air conditioning didn't work so everything was clammy, even the carpet felt wet. We only got one hand towel for 3 of us. The breakfast was nothing to brag about. I've had many breakfasts with scrambled eggs and this was by far the grossest ones I've had. They brought us fans to use for the night and they were so full of dust I had them bring one of them back.

Desk staff nice. felt safe. breakfast was good enough.
Jacuzi was foul. jumped out after 2 minutes. room carpet was shot and sticky.

The warm breakfast was nice and convenient, it was near a Culver's (my fave!), Dairy Queen, well-stocked convenience store and gas station. Very nice to have a quality restaurant with bar attached. Good, friendly housekeeping service. Didn't use the pool, but nice to have it there. Not too far from a lovely part of town with the beautiful Munsinger gardens right on the river.
Noisy kids and occasional barking dog a little annoying, but it is a motel, after all. Located on an ugly strip of Hwy 10 with very little in way of businesses. The motel seems out of place, it's so nice (I guess it was remodeled recently). Had hoped it would be closer to downtown, but location is great if you're just passing through (as most are, I think) because it is a major road, and I'm sure the places in town are much more expensivve.
