Days Inn by Wyndham St Clairsville

I flushed my new bifocal contact lenses down the sink (don’t ask how). I went to the front desk (on a Sunday, no less) and asked the staff what could be done. They didn’t laugh at me, but said the maintenance man would be in soon and they would inform him. He ended up taking the P-trap off and cleaning it out (uck) looking for my contacts (along with the cleaning staff). The P-trap was corroded as the water is hard there and he had to replace the P-trap. When I got back from my class that I was attending there, the “sad” note from the housekeeping staff stated my contacts were not found., Although they were not found, how many motels would good to that trouble to help someone staying there? It was not an easy job for the maintenance man! Because of this, they have my highest rating with respect to customer service...they went above and beyond..

Chairs (desks and setting chairs) need to be cleaned or replaced.

Room smelled like cigerattes. Loud noise from refrigerator. morning clerk not friendly when I told her the problems

Clean, comfortable room. Great value.

Convenient to what we were doing in the area. Room was clean.

The hairdryer did not work. The steps up to the 3rd floors rooms were uneven, tacky, need paint, and one was broken. Outside area not inviting.

The staff were welcoming and courteous

The room was cramped and smelled heavily of smoke. I tried to open the window but the crank was broken and no one knew how to open it, when I called the office they sent maintenance up with a spray that they gave ME to clean the room and get rid of the smell

The breakfast was nice and the location and ease of getting to the casino.

The beds were hard and our room had ants. I woke up rolled over and there was ants crawling on the night stand, then what did we see, ants in one of the beds!! Def not something I was too happy about. This will make re-think about staying here again next time!!

I liked the bed, was very comfortable.

For the price of the room, i was very disappointed overall, i expected something a little more updated and nicer, the heater in the room did not even have a thermostat, so i had to keep getting out of bed all night to either turn on the heat, when it got cold in the room and turn it off a little while later when it got too hot in the room, it was very annoying, and there were no outlets by the nightstands to plug in my cellphone or anything else, the ladies at the front desk were not very nice or friendly at all, they weren't exactly rude, but very close to it.
