Terribly overpriced; chewing gum, thick layer of dust under bed; lack of elevator; no access to wifi in room; room too small, noisy; mosquitoes (staff failed to provide repellent despite request); bread, eggs offered for breakfast not fresh.

I really enjoyed staying here. The location was perfect (tucked into a back alley within the Diocletians Palace), so very central and handy to everything. The building is old (part of the Palace) so has a great feeling of character and is tastefully renovated. The room I had was wonderful - had a balcony off it (maybe the only such room). Spotlessly clean and nice and tidy. Not luxurious but very comfortable. The breakfast room is tiny, so get there early or late.

It's location, it's look (being part of the Palace), it was comfortable, staff were friendly.
Lugging my bags up the stairs to my room although the staff is very helpful and assisted many new arrivals with their luggage.
