Very convenient coz it is close to the Gondola Sky Cable, to restaurants, Lake Tahoe, etc.
Very limited personal supplies like soap, shampoo, conditioner, & no toothpaste.

We have been staying at Forest Suites every fall for the past 25+ years. We love it for its convenient location. We park the car and walk everywhere from there. We especially like the forest view and this year it was lovely with fresh snow.

Our room location was awesome, sliding glass door opened right to the pool, we sat on the porch and watched the birds and squirrels. Forest Suites is in the best location, walking distance to everything.
The hotel just needs a little upgrade in rooms, our refrigerator handle was missing, freezer door handle was broken (did maid not notice when room was cleaned?) Employee at front desk had maintenence fix it promptly, but we were uncomfortable while waiting for them to fix it. Kitchen and bathroom cupboards had a smell to them that was gross.

The lift is just around the corner and the Raley's is even closer. The small kitchenette made it possible to stay in at night and watch the snow fall. It was ideal for skiers and young people who want to party. The casinos were within walking distance, too. Near the Marriott and the Embassy Suites.
The decor is utilitarian and the room smelled of air freshener. The towels were super thin. It's all about location here.

An older hotel. Heated pool! Nice location. Its located right at the gondola. You can walk to everything from hotel. The continental breakfast was delicious.It is very close to the State line, so it was just a short walk to casinos.
