It was quiet: you could not hear a single thing in the other rooms around you. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was excellent. The morning Chef took time to chat with us about things.

The Waterford is one of the best kept secrets in town! We travel back and forth often, to the South Bend,IN area. Thanks to a relative’s advice and info about you guys, we chose your beautiful hotel. We will be back! Thank you!! No complaints, not one!

Room was very big just needs a little updating. All in not bad at all. Very peaceful room.
Breakfast was ok. Would have been better if they had a bigger selection of breakfast foods.

I like the location and the price is right. The staff is really nice.
This time, the wifi didn't work, and the hot water boiler went out for the whole wing of our side of the hotel on the day we had to leave. But we have stayed there before without issues. The people are so nice, and tried to fix it right away. Also, need more towels in the pool room and work out room.

I have always enjoyed my stays great value and comfort. I always feel welcomed.
I thought the continental breakfast was poor - you used to have a full breakfast, but just a better breakfast needed.

Convenient...not far from interstate and not far from Notre Dame
They advertise a hot breakfast and there was NO hot breakfast.

Good price and close to university
Very shabby decor and lumpy duvet covers. Continental breakfast did not have much variety and there was not enough food towards the end of breakfast period
