Convenience of being downtown and the friendly staff!

Parking garage had me confused because it said it was full and it wasn't. I parked on the street and asked front desk they told me it's not full even though the sign was lite. I then went and immediately parked my car, glad there was a spot for me.

Hotel was very over-priced. Food not good for the type of hotel, expected much better. Staff very good and friendly.

We liked the room, the beautiful view of the river which enabled us to watch the fireworks. The bedding and towels were very good quality.

I was surprised and unhappy to be charged for parking when we were paying to be guests two nights. Typically parking is free to hotel guests in the garage that is run by the hotel. We had the hotel swipe card but still we were charged. I also think that a continental breakfast should have been offered as a complimentary guest benefit. Both of the other hotels we stayed in on this trip provided full breakfasts and the rooms cost less.

Seems like a nice hotel, but therre was so much construction it was hard to tell.

I think we should have been informed that the hotel was undergoing a major renovation. I assume this caused some amenities to be unavailable, and the noise was distracting. My wife was dissappointed we weren't offered cookies upon checkin.
